Fire
Its kinda scary thinking about fires, especially when there were two cases of fire near my block..16th october 2007 was the fire happening at the nearby market..
17th september 2008 was a fire happening at a block nearby..

I just can't but think that nxt yr it could be my block's turn to experience a fire..

Small note: I think I'll change the design of the blog again soon...

My nephew(s)



3 pictures of my nephews, well 2 of them are more of the younger one..And the pics were taken with my pathetic phone so the quality is pretty horrible..Let's see, the 1st picture shows the older and younger nephews,kinda obvious who is who..2nd/3rd pic shows the younger nephew, the one that comes over often to bother the family..
Honestly its a pain chasing him around the house gettin him outta trouble, but what needs to be done has to be done..I cant really remember their ages cause i forgot to ask their birthdays, but from what I remember, the older nephew is 7 yrs old and the younger one is 3 yrs old..Both nephews have a tendency to sleep late though..(Bad influence? o.O)

Recent food experiences
Thought I'll freshen up the blog a bit with some pictures..abt a few times I had food with friends..

1st August - Chocolate cokeshake
To be honest, it looks more like somethin from the toilet..And guess what? It started out as McDonald's coke lol ...Things added to it - Oreo mcflurry, milk, pickles(?!), curry sauce(?!), fries(lol)... This is one of the things in the world you should never consume even if you are dying of hunger/thirst. And yea I was bored then, so I combined the leftovers of my friends' foods into my unfinished coke.

14th August - Birthday cake
A birthday cake! One of my friend's birthday cakes anyway, and the picture on it? His robot model for Visual Arts, lol. We kinda wanted to eat his magnificent work, not in a good sense btw. I couldn't stand the cream though...Though we did hit his face with whipped cream a few minutes after the pic was taken lol.....
21st August - Steamboat
To be honest, I don't like steamboat much, I also don't really like buffets..Probably cause I never am able to eat my money's worth there. But anyways, had steamboat with my friends then cause it just seems cool lol. When we got there we were the only group starting steamboat, the entire floor was empty (it was on the 2nd floor of some place), I kinda forgot what flavour the soup was though..But when it arrived the first thing my half of the group (there were 11 ppl, and the table was split into two sides for 2 soups at a time) did was throw in instant noodles.
After that would be the usual steamboat stuff, throwin in all kinds of ingredients to cook..

..Such as the above, prawns, but..my half of the group added in a hell lot of prawns (of course that was after already being near the end of the meal) , whatever the flavour of the soup was, it changed into a seafood taste after they were done with it lol..
And yeah they like having fun too, so they decorated the prawn shells lol..like the above..

Transformation
Finally got myself to change the template...This time its my own design haha...Its the same design that I used for one of my web development assignments, guess it came in useful here..Bah few months since I posted but then I dont do much anyways..

I've got photos to share but kinda lazy to upload them to my comp right now, anyways finally received the results of my semester 1!! I was pretty nervous..(the results were on my school's website btw if you dont already know) but I passed all my modules!! I was definitely very very afraid of failing my VART (visual art) module since I didnt quite do well for it but at least I had a C+..Better than a D at least, as for my other results they are shown below...

Mathematics 1 : A
C++ Programming : A
Digital Entertainment Systems : B+ (Originally was expecting a fail as well)
Web Development : ....DIST?!... how the hell did I get that?
Visual Art Techniques 1 : C+ (better than expected)
Communication Skills 1 : A (Wow, Im guessing theory test pulled my marks up)
Digital Entertainment Project : B+ (Oh well, coulda been worse)

Grade Point Average : 3.583 (interesting number)

Not too bad of a score I might say, but then again, moderation was implemented to save those who failed..Oh and for those who dont already know, Im in Nanyang Polytechnic, Digital Entertainment Technology course...I'll post more when I get some pictures uploaded.
